Diver watches have always had their faithful fan-base. These technical watches, which often offer a very robust design, due to their rotating bezel, highly readable indicators and large hands, attract today more and more watch enthusiasts, whether or not they are a fan of underwater excursion.
Sure you are going to say that at first sight this divers watch looks like many others that already exist, a curse many divers watches have … But admit that at a second look there are many details that set it apart. Swiss Watch Company’s Diver Watch unites all attributes of an excellent Swiss Made diver Watch.
The case with a 44mm diameter, is made of Anti-Corrosive Stainless Steel 316L with screw-in case back- and crown, fitted with a scratch-resistant Ceramic Diver bezel. The finishes are really nice because the case is polished but also satin – Which will give you the possibility to play with the light.
In terms of design, this timepiece is a mix between Omega, Tag Heuer and even Rolex thanks to the little magnifying glass that we can find at 3 o’clock and that improves the visibility of the date.
Note that the slightly curved Sapphire Crystal comes with an inside Anti-Reflective coating to improve readability and reduce glare.
Just under this glass, the hours, minutes and seconds hands are polished and thanks to the luminescent accents you’ll even read the time in the night.
The watch is available in two versions : one with a white dial and one with a black dial.
The dial is well decorated and made in two level with a big square in the middle and we find also large applied polished indexes filled with Luminova.
The typical dive watch has a water resistance of about 200 or 300 meters, although modern technology allows the construction of diving watches that can go to a much greater depth (but frankly for what, since most submarines don’t even go that deep). This Swiss Watch Company is waterproof to 300m and that’s enough!
At the heart of this timepiece there is the well known ETA 2824 movement which is a mechanical movement with twenty-five jewels that beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (or 28,800 vph). It’s a good quality movement and it has been used by numerous watch makers over the years in a wide range of watch models. The reputation of ETA is known worldwide. They are the largest manufacturer of Swiss mechanical movements and supply many of the top manufacturers, including Omega, Breitling, Tag-Heuer, IWC, and many others. The ETA 2824 movement is sometimes seen as the best combination of reliability and value.
This Swiss Watch Company diver was created entirely in Switzerland and yet they offer it at the price of 750 CHF, which is not bad for a sporty and classy timepiece like this one. The watch is delivered with a Stainless Steel 316L bracelet with adjustable diver buckle and a rubber strap.
An optional leather strap with double-folding clasp (like on the pics of the white version) is available for an additional CHF 120. If you are interested let us know and we will help you to get one!
